Each year the Camas Soil Conservation District sponsors a team to attend the Idaho Envirothon, held in Challis, Idaho. It is an amazing opportunity for students to learn, gain experience and participate in a nationally recognized competition, gain incredible experience and make lifelong friends and contacts.

Experience of a lifetime!
Visit Idaho's beautiful Sawtooth National Recreation Area for a fun-filled camp where kids can study wildlife, forestry, archery, target shooting, fishing, arts and crafts and much, much more!

This year's poster contest theme is:

The Camas SCD offers CASH PRIZES to the winners of the poster contest.  AFter a short lesson in the class, given by the Information and Education Specialist, the 5th graders are provided with poster paper and many ideas to complete a poster.  After judging, 3 places are awarded prizes, then the posters are entered in a state level competition!

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
The Camas SCD generously offers graduating seniors a chance at a college scholarship.  Seniors should write a short essay to the SCD explaining their college attendance plans and goals.

Camas Soil Conservation District meeting are open to the public and are held the third Tuesday of each month at 5pm at the District office located at 403 Soldier Road in Fairfield,  Idaho.
